Dance company prepares for ‘Elements’

Fourteen dancers stretched, tucked and twirled their bodies during auditions for the Kinkaid Dance Company. Ms. Kirsten McKinney, dance teacher and company director, opened rehearsals with a warm-up routine before teaching the Upper School dancers her piece. Ms. McKinney was joined by other dance teachers, Mr. Aaron Girlinghouse and Mrs. Danyale Williams, who presented their own choreography for the audition. The company is in the early stages of preparing for “Elements,” a dance concert that is set to take stage Nov. 16-17.
