Shaivi Moparthi serves as Editor-in-Chief of The Kinkaid Falcon. This is her fourth year on the staff. Recognized nationally as a 2026 Coolidge Senator and inducted into the Quill and Scroll International Journalism Honor Society, she has built a strong foundation in scholastic reporting and civic leadership. Shaivi first discovered her love of journalism as a Kid Reporter for TIME Magazine, where she had the rare privilege of interviewing the legendary primatologist Dr. Jane Goodall. Since then, her writing has earned a published byline in the Los Angeles Times and won the prestigious Best of SNO award multiple times for outstanding online scholastic journalism. When she is not managing newsroom production, Shaivi can be found planning campus wellness initiatives as Co-President of SWAB, helping bring Culture Fest to life as a committee chair, listening to Billy Joel, or perfecting her banana bread recipe.
