Alumni share on career panel
October 18, 2019
As sophomores and juniors participated in PACT and PSAT testing Wednesday, seniors were given a special opportunity. Alumni from a variety of fields, including law, energy, oil and medicine, returned to Kinkaid to host panels about their careers and their paths to get there.
Upon arrival, students heard a moving message from alum Andrew Coskey. After graduating Kinkaid and attending Gettysburg College, Coskey was told his dream of going to medical school was impossible. But, after hard work and perseverance, he attended medical school at the University of Texas in Galveston and is now a resident at UTMB in Houston.
After attending three panels, students and alumni attended a lunch together in the Ogilve Lobby, where they could participate in more casual conversation.
