As freshmen and peer mentors ventured around endless pine trees at Camp Cho-Yeh in Livingston, Texas, this past weekend, the excitement of new friendships filled the air. Students became filthy in mud pits, launched from water pads and braved a high ropes course, so there was no shortage of fun activities. Freshmen also participated in team-building activities and learned the dos’ and dont’s of high school from their peer mentors.  “It’s so much fun to watch all of the freshmen form new friendships,” said peer mentor and senior MK Rice.
