[dropcap]Three [/dropcap] lanes of traffic going east towards Voss on San Felipe were backed up for 20 minutes on Tuesday, Mar. 17 as the temporary kitchen was driven onto campus via two trailers.
The Piney Point Village City Council approved the use of special permits for a temporary kitchen on campus in the weeks leading up to Spring Break. The current cafeteria will be razed this June in order to begin construction on the new dining hall. For the 2015-2016 year, Middle and Upper School students, as well as faculty and staff, will eat in the Ogilvie Lobby of the Katz Performing Arts Center.
The temporary kitchen, located between the Lower School and the Katz Performing Arts Center, took the entire day to be set in place.
