Nicole Fernandez is the editor-in-chief and features editor for The Falcon as well as a varsity cheerleader and senior at The Kinkaid School. This avid basketball watcher and animal lover hopes to continue with a career in journalism by becoming a financial broadcast journalist. When she’s not watching trashy TV or eating Tex-Mex, Nicole is running her own 5o1(c)(3) nonprofit organization Literacy Strong, helping to improve Houston’s literacy rates. Nicole is a four-year staff member and is excited to lead The Falcon team this year.
